Every October, Bergamo’s city center transforms into a vibrant crossroads of cultures, colors, and aromas with Mercatanti in Fiera, one of the most anticipated autumn events in the region. From 16 to 19 October 2025, the elegant Sentierone and Piazza Dante in the lower town will come alive with stalls, street food, and artisan crafts from across Italy and the world.

Italian regions will also play a starring role, with local specialties from north to south—delicate cheeses and mountain dishes from Valle d’Aosta, sweets and pastries from Puglia, and vegan and vegetarian creations by Bergamo-based artisans.
